This Persian calligraphy invokes prayers that are dedicated to our Prophet Muhammed and Hazrat Ali. I think it reads: "O Allah Give your blessings to our Prophet Muhammed and his great disciple Ali. (The Salwaat) Purify our hearts and souls, bless us all, and group us with your virtuous children"

This is a wonderful informative site. I have yet to find anywhere any figures of how many Ismailis are there worldwide. I would be interested in knowing some accurate information. I am not interested in figures cooked up by the propoganda machine or by the numerous fanatics. Anyone with the correct information.

It is an insult to us muslims to call the shiiats muslims under the islamic law they should be pronounced as kafirs because they slender directly our god our prophet our kaliphs and our holy quran.Only the non believers would do that so we must label them as KAFIRS and not as muslims only by repenting for their sins and the forgiveness by the ALMIGHTY they may not taste the ever lasting fire of hell

Someone who cannot even spell the word "shiism" sits in judgment of others who are Shias. How interesting! But of course, Mr. Alias ghar cannot be wrong; as he, alias as his name suggests, has a lot qualifications to his name. He is a doctor, an engineer and an intellectual! I would suggest to Mr. Alias ghar to first learn how to spell the word shiism, then attempt to read what shiism is all about and then lastly, if he has satisfied the first two conditions, to embarak on his ambitious adventure to write about shiism on the Ismaili Web page. Good luck! I know you need it.

I don't beleive that jesus will come back ,but ithink if he has seen your e-mail, he will come back people like you to tell you that there is Imam now .

I have a very simple Question. You talk about the Shiaism and the Prayers etc. Where is THE QIBLA in THE NIZARI JAMAATKHANA. You do not pray like other muslims. You play dandia in the Jamaat Khana right??? Explain this. Ismailis do not fast during Ramadhan but are very fast to celebrate Eid. What about Muharram, do you you offer reverences during the month of Muharrum to remember the tragedy of karbala? NO and NO and NO. and you call yourself shias????

Ya Ali Madad:To all those people who does not know mohamad(PBUH)and the Imam of each time, may God help you. Rukshan:You are talking about jisus as if we do not believe in him,so let me tell you something : for each time there is Imam ,this Imam has the light of God which is (NOOR),and if you are so religious think about it,and ansower this questions please......1-what was the fault of those people who lived before jisus and they did not know hem?...2-who was saving them?....3-where is jisus now,or where was he whithin the last 20 years to save all those people who they still waiting for him to come back?..jisus will not come back again, because when God sent him to his people at his time ,he did that for a massege he wanted to give it to the people, and this massege will last forever, but his body also has gone long time ago only one Imam at our time has this massege from God,and in his massege there is nothing against jisus massege ,and he is giving this massege to us in a way that make it suitable for us{i mean the people who are living now in the year 2000},and this massege will last forever.

Assalam alaikum, Salawat! I had been a Christian until I became a Muslim in August 1999. I first read the Quran in translation in 1995, and studied about Islam (in Sunni books) until the fall of 1998 when it finally occurred to me that because of the events in early Islamic history, I really should be looking into Shia Islam. I met some "12er" Shia and read the Nahjul Balagha and the Al-Sahifat Al-Sajjadiyya as well as books about Ithna-Ashari Belief, Practice, and History. At the time, I did not find any Zaydi or Ismaili Shias or books. Since I have wanted to read about other Shia groups from their sources, I am happy I have stumbled into your website. No matter how incorrect an offensive someones comment may seem to you , there really is no excuse for BAD LANGUAGE!! Yes, I do not agree with what an ignorant RUAKAN has to say, but by using BAD LANGUAGE, you are really not using the skills to reason and prove your point. Besides, there are all kinds of people that have access to this guest book: the old, the young, families etc.. PLEASE HAVE COURTESY FOR THE REST. You really need to apologize to all of us for your outrage. Really disgusted!!!

RUKSAN... !!! You are a loser. What do you know about Muhammed The last Messenger (Peace Be Upon Him And His Progeny). I will do a favour and ask you to read Ahmed Deedat's "What the Bible Says About Muhammed(SAW). Not only that, also read the book by Michael Haat, and Ahmed Deedat's "Muhammed the greatest". It has everything that you are trying to tell us with your bad and evil, and uneducated mind. I can challenge you that it will teach you something. For your Info, Jesus was not an incarnate but a Human. Does your bible talk about the miraculous birth? It does and so does the holy Quran. Good day Loser!Laanatullah

I checked your WHATS NEW page and was suprised to see a link for an Internet based bank. Not only that, you have without shame, mentioned that you get money for li to maintain this website. This bank deals with Interests of all kinds. and for your information INTREST(RIBA) IS NOT PERMITTED IN ISLAM. If you are that kin in displaying links to online banking, then choose the Islamic banks. It doesnt suit that you use the Ismaili Web Site for that purpose. This brings a doubt if the Ismail Tradition accepts RIBA or not...

Okay so you lot aren't normal Muslims, thank you Jasmid. But you still believe in Allah and you still believe in Muhammad as his prophet. But let me tell you this, you still have to hear the Good News. Jesus died for every one of you and he loves you all. He was the Son of God and still is up in heaven. Answer me this where is Muhammad's body today? Where is Christ's body? How can you not possibly believe that Christ did not rise from the dead? The disciples were matryed for their belief that Jesus rose from the dead. Do you think they would have risked their lives for something that they knew wasn't true? Because he was God, Jesus alone paid the price for our sins. We cannot get to heaven by yourselves. Even your Muhammad did not know whether he was going to paradise: "Even though I am an apsotle of Allah, I am not sure what Allah will do with me." And furthermore Muhammad was a sinner: "O Allah set me apart from my sins." Every single person both his enemies and followers could not find a single fault in Jesus. He had no sin in him. He was God incarnate. There is no other way to get to heaven but by Jesus. SO please come to your senses and realise that you are doomed to the eternal lake of fire. But if you choose to accept Jesus then and only then will experience the joy, peace and happiness that nothing else here on earth can bring. please if anyone does want to become a Christian please e-mail me or anyone has comments please e-mail me Thank you Rukshan

Listen up all you fools! If you seroiusly think Muhammad is the most influential person in history - you are very well mistaken. Jesus Christ by a long way was the greatest, most influential person ever in the history of the world. Jesus is ALIVE, Muhammad is dead and buried. Jesus is our Savoiur, Lord and Master and he loves you all and wants you to turn from your sins NOW. Muhammad was only a man like you and me, he did not die for the world and for the sins of the world like Christ did. You see all you Muslims try to make it our own way whereas i have a personal God, a God who loves and knows everything about me. Can you boast that? No. Instead you think by praying 5 times a day, fasting and making women cover themselves up, is going to save you? Is it? Of course not. You are still bathed in your sins and only and only Christ can cleanse you from that sin. Muhammad died and is buried. Christ is ALIVE and is returning, you wait and see...... If any Muslim or anyone wants to contact me, please please do so. Thank you

Daer Nina:ALLAH IS UP DAY AND NIGHT: A friend was once helping out at a children's Summer camp. She rounded up them up for bedtime, and said,"let's just put our cares into God's hands, then go to bed and sleep." "Yes," said one youngster,"He's up all night and day anyway!" We all battle with the problem of worry, and have fears about the future. We replace our faith with anxiety, shifting the burden from God's shoulders to our own frail ones.Let us remind ourselves that God is always alert, and in charge.

Daer Nina:THE FAME OF RELIGIOUS LEADER: No species of fame lasts longer than that of the saint. Nobody has influenced humanity more than the patriachs and prophets, the holy men and women who have taught us how we should live and die. The memory of saintity is hallowed long after worldly achievements, however heroic or meritorious, pass into oblivion. Hagiography is the ancestor of biography, and the late-20-century cult of celebrity is its corrupt descendant. Thos who worship nothing will make an idol of anybody.
